For Every Occasion.
The Dining table is designed in 1937; it is simple and elegant with the light steel tube legs in chrome and with the distinctive ending at the floor: a black ball coming out of the steel leg, finishing the rounding of the steel tube leg and letting the table stand solid with a completely light look. Again, function meets form and the distinctive, light look of the Dining table makes it usable at any setting and for any purpose at home, at work, in the meeting room, etc. The genius of the Poul Henningsen Dining table with extension plates lies in the ability to transform it via a light-weight extension leaf that – when not in use – stands vertically beneath the table top and does not impede upon the available leg-room beneath the table top. When both extension plates are hanging vertically beneath the round table top, the two swing legs forms a distinctive design. Whether you are hosting a family dinner or a more elaborate banquet for many guests, Poul Henningsen’s dining table will comfortably accommodate everyone and the positioning of the legs makes plenty of space for seating. The Dining table is available with chromed legs and in a variety of finishes of the top plates: laminate, natural or light oak as well as black oak. The top plates can be in three different sizes or the table is available with the genius extension system.
